The
foundation of College of Agriculture was laid down
by the great son of India late Shri Rafi Ahmed Kidwai on
Aug. 1, 1952. At that time this college was up to an
Intermediate level. Thereafter, on July 17, 1955, the Union
Minister for Food and Agriculture, Shri Ajit Prasad Jain laid
foundation of Undergraduate College and Rafi Ahmed Kidwai
Agricultural Research Institute. This college has 142.9 ha area, out
of which 90.70 ha is under cultivation. It is situated 40 km away
from the Bhopal on Bhopal - Indore state high way.
